Fun Friday – Getting into Character?
Let me start by assuring you that I DID NOT duct tape my daughter to the chair. Honest!
And isn’t Bella a true hero–um, heroine–to try to free her?
Before I tell you what’s going on at the whacky author’s house, I want to give all of you a chance to guess. Let’s have some creative fun.

Update: When I first posted this, I invited readers to join me tomorrow at a blog I was visiting where the answer would be revealed. But…that blog no longer exists, so… I share the full story in the next blog.
Aah, Jeannette, connived like a true writer. I sure enjoyed gleaning how she felt. But…it would’ve been quite a trick to duct tape both her arms to the arm rest. But…hmmm, that would be a great alibi in a story if you could actually do it. Hee, hee, hee.
Did your daughter do it to herself, to try and tell you after Bella freed her, what it felt like? Then you could write a scene from the captive’s POV. Right?

Oh, I believe that one, Loree. Bella loooooves PB, and face-licking torture…I’ll have to get a follow-up photo of that. 😀

Bella did the duct taping because your daughter wouldn’t tell her where the peanut butter jar was hidden. Face licking torture is next until she gives up the goods.

LOL — I think Bella did the duct taping because:
a) your daughter hid the treat jar and won’t divulge the location.
b) Bella is playing make believe — Lassie, Littlest Hobo, Rin Tin-tin…and your daughter is the damsel in distress
c) Your daughter decided to try that inane dog IQ test on Bella — you know where you take a treat hide it under a towel and then time the dog to see how long it takes to uncover the treat? Bella took one look at the towel and thought, “You wanna know how smart I am?” Then she took the duct tape and the rest is history, proving once again that dogs are smarter than humans.
