Into Thin Air Character Interviews: Dr. Harriet Bailey Recommended Reading/Viewing: If you enjoyed this story, be sure to check out the rest of the books in the Cobble Hill Farm Mysteries series. There will be 15 in total once all are released. Want more about UK vets? Although not mysteries, you might also enjoy James Harriet’s books, as well as the two All Creatures Great and Small TV series based on his books (one produced in the 1980s and the most recent version). The Yorkshire Vet is also fun to watch. And check out books by the same name by Peter Wright and Julian Norton. There’s also a delightful series I recently discovered by UK author Della Galton called Coming Home to Puddleduck Farms. And Amanda Owen (aka The Yorkshire Shepherdess) has written memoirs that are quite interesting. Looking for a copy of Into Thin Air? Click Here to Learn More

I HAVE LOVED ALL YOUR BOOKS TO DATE ,AND AM LOOKING FORWARD TO ALL YOUR UP AND COMING BOOKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, Cathy, thank you so much for your encouragement! You’ve made my day!
My husband just finished your book # 1 ” Deadly Devotion ” and is anxious for book # 2….he really enjoyed book #1.
When is the second book in Port Aster Secrets going to be available?
Hi Cathy,
I’m delighted to hear that your husband enjoyed Deadly Devotion. Book 2, Blind Trust, releases June 1, 2014.
I started your Port Aster reading Book#2 first, Book#1 was checked out already, and I needed a new book, it was such a page turner and I couldn’t wait to read the first book, so I reserved it at my local Library so I would be sure to figure out how the series started, as I reserved it I asked for the Third book in the series, only to find out it is not being released until June, this year??? I can’t wait that long,,,,, But i will just hurry up June, and it’s May day tomorrow.. Yikes! Oh well I gotta do what I gotta do, meanwhile I will start with a couple of your other books… P.S. I found both in the new section of Christian Fiction in my library. Thanks much and I can’t wait to see how Desperate measures ends… Now I feel that I should take a desperate measure and reserve it first at my library… Thanks mary weaver.
So pleased to hear you enjoyed Blind Trust, and to hear that the books are in your public library! The months are speeding by so quickly Desperate Measures will be here in no time. 🙂
Just so I can get this right, Deadly devotions was first, Blind trust is 2 and Desperate measures is 3?
That’s right Terri!
Just finished reading”Deadly Devotion”. Loved it and couldn’t put it down. Just started “Blind Trust” can’t wait to she what Kate does.
I love to hear that! Thanks, Sonya.
Hello Sandra! I walked into the local bookstore in Goderich where my mother lives to find something to get me back into reading and I saw your name and it peaked my interest since Orchard is my maiden name and not all that common. The first two books of the Port Aster Secrets series were on sale so I figured it was a sign. Now I’ve just finished book 1 and I haven’t been drawn into a book like that in quite some time. It was absolutely gripping. I loved how you think you know, but really you don’t know anything until the last little bit. I can’t wait to move on to books 2 and 3. You are a very talented writer and I admire that you didn’t start until later in life. Keep up the great storytelling!
What a fun comment to read! Thank you. I’m so pleased you enjoyed Deadly Devotion and that you’re hooked. 😉
Hi Sandra! I have just finished reading Deadly Devotion while recovering from surgery. I totally enjoyed it and really like your writing style. How clever of you to put the “teaser” chapter one of Blind Trust at the end of your book. I am now trying to find copies of Blind Trust and Desperate Measures. Keep on writing! Cheers, Laura
So pleased to hear you enjoyed the story, Laura, and wish you all the best in your recovery
