It’s Thanksgiving Day in Canada and I’m celebrating!
We have much to be thankful for living in this country. The leaves beginning to show their glorious colors is yet one more example of God’s faithfulness through the changing seasons of our lives.
This year we’ve celebrated the birth of a grandbaby and the debut of my first novel, we’ve mourned the loss of a dear friend, and continue to journey through some serious health concerns within our family, and through it all we have felt God’s love and comfort and have been blessed with many friends who enfold us in their prayers.
My heart overflows with thankfulness. Thank you for stopping by today!
Your turn: What are you thankful for?
Blogs like this that make me stop and reflect more on centering my life around God instead of being swept away in the ‘harriedness’ of the world.
Definitely Christian fiction which has contributed tremendously to uplifting my faith and helping me live a Christ-centered life.
The fact that I still have a job no matter how miserable the commute is.
That my laptop may be down but at least she’s not out for the count!
The kindness of neighbours.
The joy of reading to children.
The blessing of family and friends always ready to buoy me up.
The goofiness of my dog!!!! (shows me that God definitely has a sense of humour).
I could go on but the leaves in my backyard are calling and I know if I don’t deal with them this morning they’ll still be lying there by nightfall.
A wonderful list, Kav! I can just picture your goofy dog barreling through the pile of leaves when you get it all together. 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
Happy Thanksgiving! Beautiful picture.
You asked about Type A Con – I did several posts about it at the time. There is a ‘search’ box on the right hand side of my blog if you scroll down. You can type Type A Con into it and it should pull up 3 or 4 posts for you about it. Thanks for reading my guest post!
Thanks Loree and Lisa, and for the tip, Lisa 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving, Sandra! Thanks for reminding us of our many blessings!
Thank you, Jackie. And you’re welcome 🙂
I’m thankful most for all the blessings God has given me and my family. We have been truly blessed and I know it’s all through the grace of God!
Happy Thanksgiving, Sandra!
