Did you know that method actors often study animal behavior to perfect characterizations?
I often find inspiration for my fictional characters from animals. Take this picture for example.
Is the cat yawning, yowling, yodeling, yelling for help? What’s it doing in the corner? Was it sent there? Is it stuck?
Your Turn: Give your imagination a workout and tell a story about what’s happening in the picture.
He’s clearly an Irish cat and dipped into the green Guiness a day early. Now he’s serenading everyone in the pub with his unique twist to “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling.”

He probably worked hard as anything to get into that position, is proud of it, and is yowling to let the world know about it.
Oh yes, like when she proudly brings her captured prey home to show off!
LOL! I think he has a dog below that trapped him there. That seems to happen a lot in our house, and the cat gives the dog what-for! 🙂
