Monday we talked about what we’d give up for love.
Because of fear, both Ginny in Deep Cover, and Lindsey in Lakeside Reunion, ask the police officers they love to give up their jobs before they’ll marry them.
Of course, every diehard romance reader longs for the hero to choose love over anything else. But what of the heroine?
She needs a change of heart, too. Right?
Your turn: Can you share an example of how you embraced God instead of clinging to fear? Are you struggling with this very thing, now? How might we pray for you?
GIVEAWAY OF DEEP COVER this week on Noelle Marchand’s new blog Today features an interview of the heroine.
I’m right in the middle of reading Deep Cover and loving the story. I’m very impressed, Sandra.
One day, I just had enough of worrying about needless things…things I couldn’t control anyway. I turned to God and told him, “I’m trusting. No matter what happens, I will always love and trust you.”
That old enemy trick of doubt does try to sneek in every once in a while, but I just go on trusting.
Loree. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the story! And I love your promise to God.
Thanks, Sandra…and Loree. Yeah, the trick of doubt does sneak up. I trust Him, but your prayers would be appreciated…we downsized and moved to “country” 3 yrs. ago (near his folks, but away from my home town of many years); I have not quite adjusted ’cause can’t find the right church here!!!
Praying for you, Jackie, that you’ll find a church that feels like home and dear new friends.
